Strong lighting is especially important for these clams. Make sure that their bisal opening is not damaged, as this could easily lead to health problems. Crocea’s are normally coloured a variety of blue colours with some other colours as speckles or stripes on the blue. Selecting a healthy specimen involve reaction to shadow movement of it (move you hand between the light and the clam and the clam should close), clams that do not react should not be selected.
